American Journal of Chinese Studies

The American Journal of Chinese Studies (AJCS) is the official publication of the American Association of Chinese Studies. The AJCS publishes articles on China, Taiwan, and the Chinese diaspora in all fields and disciplines, including contemporary and historical issues and topics. Submissions on Taiwan are particularly welcome. The AJCS is a refereed journal published twice a year, in April and October. English is the language of publication.

The American Journal of Chinese Studies and the American Association of Chinese Studies disclaims any responsibility for any expression of opinion or fact by its contributors.

The AJCS is indexed and/or abstracted in America: History & Life; Historical Abstracts; International Political Science Abstracts; Bibliography of Asian Studies; Public Affairs Information Service; is electronically indexed in Uncover; and is listed in the MLA Directory of Periodicals and Ulrich's International Periodicals Directory.

Electronic versions of the journal are also available, with a one-year embargo, in Historical Abstracts, Academic OneFile, World History Collection, and JSTOR.
